for Thanksgiving
In fall of 2021 I ran my first batch of Thanksgiving turkeys. I started them on the late summer pasture in early August and ran them all the way to the third week in November, and harvested them the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
Demand was huge and I only ran 10, but everyone who ate them said they were the tastiest, juiciest turkeys they had ever had. One fellow even swore he would buy and enjoy seagull if I decided to raise it!
I'm not quite there...
But anyway, for fall 2024 I will run 2 pens with 20 turkeys total. I already have a short list of folks going, so if you'd like some, please sign up at the form below to reserve yours.
The price will be around $6.50/ lbs, and the last batch all came in around 18 pounds, which I'll aim for again as this is on the big side, but not too big.
